Episode 41 - Diane Datz

from Running New Mexico Podcast · host runningnewmexico

This week I had the pleasure to speak with Diane Datz owner of The Recovery Lab NM. As a physical therapist for the past 6 years, Diane has a great insight into injuries runners go through as well as specific things you can do to stay healthy heading into the colder months. She also offers several body weight exercises you can do at home while on lockdown, or if you just can't make it out to the gym. We also spend time talking about how she got into running in beautiful Corpus Cristi, how she got into PT, and how running influences her practice. She is also a USATF certified Triathlete coach and has raced distances from the 10k to 50k. She is no stranger to disappointment as she has overcome a torn ACL and had a recent triathlon canceled. I hope you enjoy her story. Instagram and website are linked above. Stay safe, be kind, and keep running, New Mexico.
