Episode 41: Joe Clarke, American Grocery (Live from Euphoria -- Greenville, SC)

Joe Clarke of American Grocery in Greenville, SC is one of the worker bees. I say that as the highest compliment as he is one of those chefs in the business who more often than not you'll still find most of the time in his restaurant kitchen, working expo and greeting tables and always thinking about how to best use the local ingredients that he loves. He's one of those guys that cooks at home on his days off, who starts supper clubs, and do you see where I'm going with this? This man loves cooking, and he's loved it since he started in a kitchen years ago. In American Grocery, he's created a place that people love going to, that people feel a connection to, and so I sat down with him during the recent Euphoria festival to figure out how he organizes it all.
