What this means is that, yes, do your spiritual work, center yourself first, but don’t forget that you still have to make yourself useful in the physical world too. You can’t pay your bills and put food on your table with 30 minutes of morning meditation each day. What’s the purpose of that? To clear your mind? Nonsense! You can’t clear your mind. We’re thinking beings - thinking is all that we do! Even when we’re asleep we’re thinking! It’s called ‘dreams’. So if we can’t stop ourselves from thinking when we’re sleeping, then what the hell makes us think that we can stop ourselves from doing so while we’re awake?!”-Hollywood
