from Free Form Rock Podcast · host Marc Taylor LLC
This week on America's podcast, The Free Form Rock Podcast, we reviewed the album "Assjack" by Hank Williams 3rd. With the addition of the Mooger Fooger and Joseph Staub, we dived into this unique musical experience. Now, the burning question is, did we like it or did it suck? Well, our opinions were quite divided on this one. Some of us found the fusion of country, punk, and metal elements to be a refreshing and exciting departure from the norm. Hank Williams 3rd's raw and gritty vocals and songwriting style resonated with a few of us, appreciating the rebellious and unapologetic nature of the album. However, there were also some of us who couldn't fully connect with the album. The blending of genres felt chaotic and disorganized to a few, making it difficult to grasp the overall direction of the music. The unconventional nature didn't quite resonate with everyone, and Hank Williams 3rd's vocal style wasn't everyone's cup of tea. In the end, it's safe to say that our opinions were mixed. Some of us liked the album for its unique and boundary-pushing approach, while others didn't quite find the appeal. Nonetheless, it was an interesting and thought-provoking discussion that showcased the diversity of our podcast and the varying tastes of our hosts. Tracks Of The Week. Marc, "Nobody Wants To Die" by the Rival Sons. Mooger Fooger, "Superficial Drug" by Sevendust. Joseph Staub "Burn" by Deep Purple. Jerry, "Cirice" by Ghost.
