Episode 42 - Christmas in Saudi

Hi all! Here’s a short Xmas msg from me, sharing some thoughts and memories from my experiences with Christmas in Saudi Arabia. Now of course not everyone living in Saudi had these experiences. There are many bubbles of existence there, I was fortunate to have access to a western secular education. Those of Muslim background who did not, obviously experienced Christmas differently or barely registered it’s existence…as it wasn’t really part of local Saudi life - even the mere acknowledgement of other religions is discouraged there. ---If you enjoyed this kind of thing, do let me know and I’ll try to share personal stories and experiences more often.
