Episode 42On tonight's episode we take a look at SURRENDER. What is surrender & how do we find it. As men we are taught from a young age to never surrender. No retreat, no surrender, right? Whether it be in sports and competition or standing up for ourselves, we are taught to never give up. But sometimes in life, surrendering can be very beneficial. Especially in our walk with Christ. We can't grow in him if we hold on to things that keep us from getting closer to him. Maybe its our attitude or actions. Maybe it’s a relationship that we know is bad for us or sins that we keep secret. The goal is to surrender all we have to him and give ourselves completely over to his will.We even need to look at this in our marriages. Surrendering ourselves to our spouses can be very beneficial in our growth as a couple and as individuals. I'm not saying we as men aren't the leaders of our homes, but we need to be able to surrender in a way that brings compromise and communication when building our relationships & families. How do we as men surrender to Christ or even our wives without being weak?
