About Mission K9 Rescue, "Mission K9 Rescue was founded in 2013 and is a non-profit organization that provides assistance and support for Working Dogs worldwide. Our organization serves retiring and retired Military Working Dogs, Contract Working Dogs, and other dogs who fit into our mission and scope. Through our generous donors and kind-hearted adopters who have opened their doors to dog charities like Mission K9 Rescue, we have given many dogs a safe and comfortable place to call their new home. In the past 10 years we have rescued over 1,300 working dogs around the world. We’ve reunited over 670 working dogs with former handlers and paid over $2M dollars in veterinary care for these hero dogs.We are based in Magnolia, Texas, and have a satellite office in Thousand Oaks, California.
