Episode 42: Truth vs Lies about Our Bodies

In today's episode, Francie discusses reconciliation- reconcile of reforming our thinking of our bodies so that we don't live in shame of our bodies.   We are image bearers of God.  God wants us to look at our bodies and see we are amazing. We see the love of God through our bodies. Psalm 8 When we see God reference a body part named in the scripture, think theology of the bodies. Romans 1 Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.   1 Corinthians  6:19 God lives in our bodies Romans 1:20 Image bearers stopped acknowledging God and stopped being thankful.  Our hearts become dark.  We become disconnected.  We become foolish. The lie is that we are our own God and we are made poorly.  We serve the creature, not the creator.
