This was such an inspiring interview with the amazing Delilah Andre!Delilah Andre has made her debut in the director's chair with "WHITE DOVE: The Origin". She is of mixed race including Persian and Lakota. She has always had a passion for writing which naturally transformed into a love for acting and filmmaking. Although she was born in Northern California, Delilah was taken to Iran by her aunt and uncle as a little girl, during her parents' separation, to visit with her grandfather and to learn about the culture. Her story is unique in that it's literally a journey into empowerment as she endured wartime conflicts in the middle east while separated from her parents. This was just the early preparation that she needed to become the compassionate warrior and award-winning filmmaker and actor that she is today. She currently lives in Los Angeles where she has received multiple awards for acting, writing and directing including her recent Audience Award at the Academy Award Qualifying Film Festival, 'Bronzelens', for her short film, "White Dove: The Origin".
