Episode 43 - A Simple Blueprint for Marketing Success And Practice Growth
from The Raving Patients Podcast · host Dr. Len Tau
On this Facebook Live series converted into a podcast, Len sits down with Evan Lazarus to discuss having a functional and scalable marketing strategy for your practice. Evan provides a simple blueprint for your marketing success and practice growth. Takeaways from this episode include: 1. Blind faith in marketing companies will get you nowhere - Dr's need to be educated consumers. 2. Identifying where your "bucket" is leaking both inside and online. 3. Putting a plan together for success. Evan Lazarus did not become a marketer the way most do. He went to Wall St., started trading options, built a hedge fund, grew it to over $200M, and then one day decided to walk away from it all. Along his journey, he also started a digital publishing company, and an online education company. His latest initiative, Simple Impact Media is a boutique marketing and consulting firm that specializes in local search, digital marketing & print advertising. His marketing skills are a combination of his expertise in business operations, his entrepreneurial spirit and his philosophy of surrounding himself with a group of people much smarter and more talented than he is. Evan is now widely considered a "go-to" source of knowledge in local search and was recently named one of the twenty-five people in the Philadelphia area shaping hyperlocal marketing. Evan currently resides in South Jersey with his wife, 11-year-old son Alex and his identical twin 6-year-old girls Sydney & Serena. When he's not on the phone talking to Doctors you can find him on the tennis court, coaching his son's basketball team or tailgating like a maniac on Sunday's for his beloved Philadelphia E-A-G-L-E-S.
