Episode 43: Crystal
from The Joshi Pod Hosted by Eric Howard
Dedicating this episode to Casey Michael and to the mother of Syuri Kondo. On this week's episode, we are joined by the 'Queen of Philippine Wrestling,' Crystal. Almost a year ago, she made the trip over to Japan to wrestle for Gatoh Move. She was also one of the inspirations for the Joshi Pod. We talk about how she was selected to go to Japan and her adventure with Mei Suruga when she arrived at the airport. She tells us how she mixed wrestling and being a tourist while in Tokyo. We also talk about her WWE tryout and the wrestling scene in the Philippines. Crystal also shares about the challenges Filipinos face trying to travel abroad to advance their careers. She is somebody we have wanted to speak to for a while. Please have a listen!
