Episode 43: Destination Wilderness program

Today we will be hearing from the executive director of the Destination Wilderness program, Michael Hooten. Founded in 2012 by Sustainable Education Solutions (SES), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, it seeks to improve the environmental literacy of Dallas families, particularly of it’s youngest scholars. As the sponsoring entity of Destination Wilderness Youth, it’s designed to expand their impact into other public schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We will be bringing this program at our Mesquite and Plano locations this coming year.Scott Townsend, Legacy’s STEM Director, will host this week’s podcast while Dr. Good is away.
