Episode 43 | Evolving by Design with Sharon Gresh, Creative Director and Partner at Standard Issue

Sharon Gresh is the co-founder of Standard Issue, a multi-disciplinary design consultancy, founded in 2005 with her husband, designer Michael McGinn.  Sharon and I worked together early on in my career, and she's been a mentor and friend for decades.  In this episode we talk about her life growing up in Coney Island, how she discovered a path to channel her artistic abilities, and after attending Pratt Institute, her early jobs out with icons of design Herb Lubalin and Lou Dorfsman. As creative director at Standard Issue, she and Michael have worked with an array of clients including Herman Miller, MillerKnoll, the Eames Institute, Design Within Reach, Brooklinen, and Designtex, among others.
