This week we watched the 2010 Sci-Fi/Horror film Splice. Join us as we Marvel ™ at a creature that is equal parts unsettling, and also the most powerful X-men ever created? While this movie may have been a box-office bomb, we both had a fun time with this B-movie science-gone-wrong flick that takes a VERY hard turn in the last act. Also discussed in todays episodes are the films tired tropes of motherhood as the only arc for its female protagonist, the cliched Blue-Filter look of a late aughts film, and how while this movie makes a running, Dogtooth is still the best movie on parenting.
