Will Godfrey is the Executive Director and the Editor in Chief of Filter Magazine.  Filter, is an online publication whose mission is to advocate, through journalism for rational and compassionate approaches to drug use, drug policy and human rights. Will and I discussed these concepts as he told the genesis story of Filter Magazine. We also had a direct and critical conversation about Harm Reduction with respect to drugs and addiction-- Filter's Bailiwick. I asked, "why is Harm Reduction a useful concept rather than just one among many meaningless slogans out there?"   Will answers these questions and more on episode 43 of TSE!  _________ Read articles by Filter:  http://filtermag.org * * * * * *  CHECK OUT PRODUCER AARON FERGUSON'S ORIGINAL MUSIC http://soundcloud.com/knowmad1   * * * * * * VISIT OUR NEW "MODES OF EXCHANGE" BLOG SITE http://modesofexchange.org  LEARN ABOUT ZACH'S BOOK WITH STANTON PEELE, OUTGROWING ADDICTION http://outgrowingaddiction.com    Become a Patron  http://patreon.com/thesocialexchange   Visit our audible link--- download a free audio book and support the show! http://audibletrial.com/socialexchange   Listen on iTunes (and leave us a review!) https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/t...    * * * * * *  Thanks to our new patrons - Sherry Chandler - Dee-Dee Stout - Christopher Hanlon  - André Pampel - CARTER Vermont  - Rick Barnett  - Anne M.
