Kalafina was a singing trio under the composition of Kajiura Yuki that combined orchestral, rock and electronic themes into their music. The group was formed initially to release music for the Garden of Sinners anime franchise, but due to their popularity they went on to produce theme songs for several other big-name anime as well as independent works of their own.
