Episode 44 DT 3 - The Wastelands 1 - 1 & 2 (1)

Episode 44 begins the third book in the Dark Tower Series, called 'The Wastelands,' covering parts 1 and 2.  Many things are happening quickly as we join our team on the road.  Immediately we meet the terrifying 70 foot portal guardian known as Shardik, and we get introduced to important terms and some of the history of Roland's world.  We learn about beams and the 12 Guardians before moving on to Jake.  Jake's back!  But for how long?
