Episode 44: Homeopathy for Aids and Eczema with Jonathan Stallick

What can more than three decades in homeopathic practice teach you about complex cases, changing prescribing styles and supporting people with difficult skin conditions? In this episode of the Homeopathy247 Podcast, Mary Greensmith speaks with experienced homeopath Jonathan Stallick about his 35 year career, his early work with people living with HIV and AIDS, and his more recent interest in eczema, psoriasis and natural skincare. 35 Years in Homeopathic Practice Jonathan began practising homeopathy in the late 1980s. He reflects on how different practice looked before computers and online consultations, when repertorization was carried out manually and most clients were seen locally. He also talks openly about the challenges of being a new practitioner, including learning how to manage difficult cases and eventually experiencing burnout early in his career. Working With HIV and AIDS Jonathan's career took an unexpected direction when he began working at HIV and AIDS centres in London during the early 1990s. At a time when fear and misunderstanding around HIV were widespread, Jonathan describes seeing hundreds of clients and adapting his prescribing to the complex cases he encountered. These experiences later became the basis of his book AIDS: The Homeopathic Challenge.
