Episode 44~ In Community with Nature

from Women's Power to Heal Mother Earth!

Send us Fan MailTo heal disease, despair, disillusionment, and ward off a deluge of impairments endemic to modern living, Maya invokes Vedic wisdom and speaks to the imperative of building the true Eco Community: Here is how she puts it ....not a space just for the like-spirited who share sameness with commonality and norms of religion, values, customs, or identity; Not only for communities that share a sense of safety in a given locale or in virtual space through communication platforms; Not only a biological community, or a so-called conscious community but the community that the Ancients called "a spiritual "community: indeed, the true value of an eco-community. What is the purpose of an eco-community? Citing the Panchayat practice of ancient Vedic tradition ~ wherein each village was responsible through its Panchayat, or committee of five elders, for maintaining the home ground in the forests within its own locality. A space where  the despairing, the disgruntled, the pure spirited, the disparaged, the disabled, the affluent, the poor, the ambitious, the creative, all co-exist in perfect balance. No village was complete without its corresponding mature woodlands, animal husbandry, humans never encroaching on more space than necessary, naturally tending to groves for providing fruits, flowers, timber products, and shelter for grazing cows. In India such sacred groves -completely free from noxious chemicals, etc., can still be witnessed around a few Hindu temples and forests that are reminiscent of an ancient culture. The Panchayat preserved ample space for human, animals, wildlife, and nature's refuge, warding off building and commercial crimes against Mother Earth. The key for success of Eco-communities can be found at its core. the guidance of its Wisdom Elders.Support the showMay Peace Be Your Journey:Maya’s approach transcends modern feminism by advocating for a holistic restoration of balance, moving beyond the fight for basic rights to reclaiming the innate power of the divine feminine, which includes procreation, forgiveness, nourishment, and cosmic creativity. She stresses the importance of kindness, inner stillness, and compassionate self-  tools for healing individuals and society. www.mayatiwari.comwww.facebook.com/[email protected] Maya’s New Book: I Am  Shakti:https://www.collectiveinkbooks.com/o-books/our-books/I-am-shaktiAmazon.comBookshop.org
