J. Smith-Cameron, star of stage and screen, grew up in the south as Jeannie Smith. How she went from a small town Southern life to taking the New York theater community by storm and her marriage to the Oscar nominated screenwriter and playwright Kenneth Lonergan, is revealed in this very intimate conversation. From the first day of shooting the "Rectify" pilot to the controversial film "Margaret," J. Is candid about her process and both the joys and struggles of the life of an artist. J. Smith-Cameron has appeared in numerous theatre productions Off and On Broadway.
