Both Khea and Cynthia live their lives with an emphasis on the importance of giving back to the community. Their passion is driven by their pride in their identity as black women and the legacy of changemakers in their community who came before them.Cafe X: By Any Beans Necessary is so much more than a coffee shop. It was designed as a co-operative to give others the opportunity to share in the ownership of the business. This particular co-op focuses on pushing boundaries and filling gaps in the community. Particularly they have a focus on providing opportunities for youth in the community. They frequently work with young people in their business as well as serve as mentors.
