In 1978 while Michael Myers terrorized Haddonfield, the rest of the nation was under attack in the comedy-horror Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Fast forward a decade later and the watery veggifruits once again rear their red in Return of the Killer Tomatoes with George Clooney in an early role as well as Repossessed's Anthony Stark and John Astin. When Professor Gangreen (Astin) formulates a new killer tomato plot, he thinks the world will finally be at his mercy. Fortunately his tomato woman creation Tara (Karen Waldron) and a failed tomato experiment named FT (Fuzzy Tomato) enlist the help of Chad (Starke) who is smitten with Tara and Chad's ladies man roommate Matt (Clooney) Hijinks ensues as product placement, Rambo tomato men and Gangreen's wanna reporter henchman Igor (Steve Lundquist) bring the laughs in this forgotten 80's cult gem.
