Episode 45: ‘Feeling Your Boat Is Being Rocked?

Matthew Chapters 1 & 2 God has a way of rocking our boats so that the great plans he has for us will be fulfilled. In Matthew chapters 1 & 2, Joseph and Mary were preparing for their wedding but there was a twist to their plans because God had a bigger and perfect picture and plan. Also, the three wise men, who had gifts on them for babyJesus, planned to go back to king Herod and give him baby Jesus’ location. God warned them not to, thus leading to protecting baby Jesus and most especially the destiny of Isreal and the Church. When Joseph and Mary were barely settled, after birthing Jesus, God told Joseph in his dream to leave for Egypt because of king Pharaoh’s evil intention. Oh! What another boat rocking! Joseph might be thinking. God’s bigger plan and purpose for us involves our obedience. The obedience of Joseph, Mary and the wise men to God led to the preservation and salvation of many. If you feel your boat is being rocked because of the promptings from God’s Word, why not promptly surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit so that lives surrounded by you, your sphere of influence could be protected, fulfilled, preserved and saved by your obedience? Let’s pray Father I thank You for the thought and plans You have for me are beautiful ones. I will be prompt to obey Your leading for the plans You have for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen
