Paul exhorts Timothy to stir up his gift as well as to not neglect his gift. Defining what this looks like is difficult because it may be different for every person. We all have different experiences and the Spirit gives different gifts. Instead, we talk about what that has looked like in our own lives and the situations and people that have encouraged the stirring up of our gifts.
