Episode 45: The Case for Protestantism with Beth Felker Jones

Today we are sharing a conversation with author, professor and theologian Beth Felker Jones about her new book, “Why I Am Protestant.” Beth and Katy discuss what Protestant has to offer believers (especially women) while many believers are being drawn to Roman Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy. Beth also reframes what some may see as division as each specific denomination fulfilling a calling to show an aspect of God’s nature to the world. Don’t forget to check out our bonus Substack episode where Beth and Katy discuss what those who are leaving Protestantism get right but also what they may miss, as well as a candid story about her parents who recently converted to Roman Catholicism.
