In this episode, I get to share my journey of an unexpected season. It can be scary and uncomfortable to step into a new season that is unfamiliar. The challenge of a new unexpected season is the word, unexpected. You don’t what to expect when it's all new to you, and you're rolling with the punches. Your perspective and priorities change and there has to be an adjustment to your normal routine and your normal thought process. Things in your life will have to adapt the this unexpected season. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it is going to be negative that is why it’s important to go into it with an open mind and an open heart. You’re evolving with it and growing organically and naturally whether you realize it or not. When youre facing the fire and hitting the wall you have to fight for the truth.  Take time to check your mindset pattern. Your old patterns cannot conform to the new patterns if you’re still stuck in an old pattern. Be aware of what you’re confessing to yourself.  Remember what God said and promised you.  People lose their way when they lose their why. Let the word of God be a lamp unto your feet in the midst of darkness. When you walk in an unexpected season you will face unfamiliar territory and you have to hold onto God’s truth and what you know. When we’re facing the trials of life and are going through a rut we need to stop asking why and start asking “who” who do we go to for comfort and counsel and “what” do we know to be true?  At the end of the day, God’s plan and purposes will always prevail. When your season changes remember where you are rooted.  Plant deep roots into God’s word and His presence so that you can withstand any storm.
