EPISODE 451: UNDERTONE

Hell answers to us, for we are The Who Goes There Podcast! We're back! Earlier this year A24 released this 90 minute flick about a paranormal podcaster and her impaired co-host who take a deep dive into some anonymously sent audio files. And yes, of course our protagonist is dealing with some serious emotional issue, in this case being the caretaker of her bed-ridden/terminally ill mother... make sure to show pictures and little figurines of the Virgin Mary because that's thematic and scary doooooooood. The film promises slow-burn thrills, auditory dread and immersive sound design. Does it deliver? Do the character interactions which are MOST OF THE MOVIE feel natural and unforced and give us a reason to care? "Don't be afraid of the dark. Be afraid of the silence." It's The Who Goes There Podcast Episode 451!!! Join our Patreon to support the show! As a Patreon member you get the episodes early, bonus content, and access to our Discord.
