Chelli Aphra has returned in the character's third namesake series, as new writer Cherish Chen takes the popular comic-created protagonist in a familiar yet remarkably original direction in Doctor Aphra -- Chaos Agent #1. Artist Gabriel Guzman and colorist Michael Atiyeh join forces again, as they did when Dark Horse had the Star Wars license, bringing a clean and concise yet gritty visage to the book, with VC's Joe Caramagna's letters adding to the effect and pitching each page into the next.Set after the events of the Battle of Jakuu and well before the sequel trilogy, the series starts strong, with a "Monuments Men" vibe that sets the tone going forward as Aphra, always on the run and with a target on her back, may actually try to settle down, so to speak.Comics Discussed This Week:Doctor Aphra -- Chaos Agent #1Star Wars Comics New to Marvel Unlimited This Week:Legacy of Vader #2News: Marvel's September solicits are due later this week and we've already gotten news of two mini-series, including Han Solo: Hunt for the Falcon, a five-issue outing set before the events of The Force Awakens, along with the four-issue Boba Fett: Black, White & Red book.
