Episode 458 - The AFTN Soccer Show (A Feast Of Football with special guest Axel Schuster)

The latest AFTN Soccer Show is out for another packed show of Vancouver Whitecaps and general football chat. While the world may be watching international teams fight for glory across many continents, we're staying closer to home for the bulk of this episode as we bring you an in-depth one-on-one with Vancouver Whitecaps CEO and Sporting Director Axel Schuster and unpack some of the stuff he had to say. The MLS season is a fifth of the way in the books right now and the Whitecaps are out of the playoff places, but still very much in touch. Can they sustain that with the squad they have? Does Axel feel he's provided MDS will the necessary tools to be a playoff team? Will there be new additions coming? With the 'Caps desperately needing some help in the midfield, will it finally be coming in the summer transfer window? Well, yes, but it may not be what everyone is expecting or hoping for? We talk about all of that and more, plus Michael and Zach chat Euro 2020, World Cup qualifiers, and Copa America, after the veritable feast of football that's been served up this weekend.
