Episode 46 - Difference Between Realtor and Real Estate Agent / Hire Smart!

People use the terms REALTOR® and Real Estate Agent interchangeably,  but they are not really the same thing. Although both must be licensed  to sell Real Estate, the main difference between them is that a REALTOR®  works under a Code of Ethics that makes his/hers real estate business  practices much more restrictive and confining to conduct. REALTORS are  proudly part of the National Association of REALTORS®, and have to pass a  test on Code of Ethics regularly. They  could be residential and commercial brokers, salespeople, property  managers, etc. I hope this helps you when it is time to pick that Real  Estate Professional that will make your dream home come true.
