Episode 46: Mercy and Grace Hoarder?

In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss the lectionary passages for this week, focusing on the Jonah passage. This week truly is an extension of last weeks passage that talk about forgiveness and judgement. Grumbling is easy to do when things don't go exactly like we like it. Jonah knew that God was going to be gracious to the Ninevites, and instead of being excited about their turning, Jonah decides it would be better for him to grumble and die. How easy it is for us to get to a place where we want God to move in a certain way, and when he is more gracious than we want, we grumble and complain. We can not control what God does, or how he moves and works, but the one thing we can control is our response.
