Episode 46 - Transformers War for Cybertron, Chapter 1: Siege

from Talkin' TV

What's up guys! We're back with yet another episode of our fantastic podcast! So, I think it's safe to say that the Transformers franchise has had a very long, very rocky history, thanks to a certain someone's take on the live action film series. But Netflix in their never-ending struggle to give us content that we can consume and then forget about, have unintentionally given us another gem, in the form of the latest Transformers series! In a loose adaptation of the "War for Cybertron" video game series, Chapter 1: Siege marks the beginning of a new chapter in the Transformers saga!  We cover our own personal relationship with the franchise, where we both started, some niches within the franchise that show that there is more than meets the eye with what these robots can actually be. Is Beast Wars actually the best Transformers series made? Or is it the most recent CG animated show, Transformers: Prime? We also have a brief segment where we discuss all the ridiculous things that happened in the Michael Bay movies, and so on! But most importantly, we talked about this show. How staggering the animation is, how surprisingly mature it is and how it differs itself from previous iterations as well as showing what the franchise's future capabilities are!  All of that and more on today's episode of Talkin' TV!!!
