Episode 460: Lord Dunsany part 1 -- Dunsany and Tolkien

Welcome back to the Manor!  Welcome to the first of two episodes on Lord Dunsany, Anglo-Irish writer (among other things), who was considered to be one of the founding writers of the fantasy genre.  We won't be discussing his role as founding writer or grandfather or anything else.  Rather, we're going to get into his possible influences on JRR Tolkien!  Their prose and general life outlooks were very similar in some aspects.   Does this mean Dunsany influenced Tolkien?  That's going to be in the next episode, as technically this is episode two, but you'll see why this one is coming out first when you start listening.
