Episode 463: Lord Dunsany part 2 - A Dreamer's Tales and its Influences

Welcome back to the Manor!  Welcome to the second of two parts for our series on Lord Dunsany.  If you haven't listened to part one, go back and listen to that one from July 31st and you'll see that we actually do know how to pronounce his name! In this episode, we're looking at how his works, in general but also specifically "A Dreamer's Tales," influenced writers such as Robert E Howard, HP Lovecraft, and more... and maybe how it influenced Tolkien, which we covered back in part one, but probably not as much as you've been led to believe by Tolkien's own admissions. Do you want to know more?  Pour yourself a pint and listen on! Next week's episode is part three of Robert Johnson, King of the Delta Blues.
