Episode 47 - Holiday Sports Honchos Spectacular!

The Honchos opened the show with a recap of Rob's trip to New York (and his failure to tell Paul beforehand) and then paid tribute to MLB Hall of Famer Jack Morris in honor of episode 47 since he wore number 47 for the Tigers, Blue Jays, and Twins. It was then time for some holiday-themed Headlines plus one about Karma being undefeated.The Honchos gift to you was putting the NFL Recap in the beginning of the show for a change. No returns, exchanges, or re-gifting friendos. After a review of the Week 15 games, the Honchos discussed the firing of Jacksonville coach Urban Meyer and the new Covid protocols in the NFL.The cavalcade of sports continued with the NHL/NBA/MLB segment. The stocking was stuffed with the sudden resignation of Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice, Covid disruptions to the NHL season, the NHL pulling out of the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. the Ingleside Lakers update, the return of Kyrie Irving to the Nets from Covid exile (lots of Covid talk again), and the return of Buck Showalter. The Honchos ended the year, and the show, with the Dope of the Week. This week's winner was Shad Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars.Happy Holidays everyone. Thanks for your love and support.
