Episode 47: "Sacred Ground" & "Farewell Dance" - Spawn #75 & #76

The Green World arc comes to a close! Who is the Keeper? What does this mean for Spawn? What's going to happen to Bootsy? Issue #75 proves to be one of the best milestone issues yet! Then issue #76 follows that with a heartfelt denouement that helps recenter Al and grounds the book with far more affecting emotional stakes than we've gotten in a while! George and Pierce dig into it further but your humble Spawnographers are liking what they are reading (and you should too!). The week's recommendations are to listen to The New York Dolls (at maximum volume, of course) as well as to check out Steven Spielberg's 1971 flick, DUEL. And if Spielberg movies and podcasts are your thing, you might want to check out Blank Check (https://www.blankcheckpod.com/) and their latest miniseries, Podrassic Cast, covering the early days of ol' Stevie's career. Thanks to Freesound (https://freesound.org/) for helping provide some of our intro sound effects.  Thanks to Blake Whitlow for the always useful Spawn Reading Order.
