Show Notes Episode 472: “Are You Threatening Me?!” This week Host Dave Bledsoe got blasted on Espresso Martinis when he gatecrashed a charity fundraiser and was ejected after screaming he needed “TP for his bunghole” (Just an average Tuesday afternoon.) On the show this week we took a look at the cultural high water mark of 90’s television: Beavis and Butthead. Along the way we discovered that Dave tried to murder his cousin with fireworks. (Or at least traumatize him for life.) Then we dove right into the story with a short history of animation from Neanderthals to Walt Disney. (We asked him to stop, he just won’t!) Then we meet Mike Judge, a Baby Boomer who was so Gen X he created pretty much all Gen X comedy culture. (Dave made Gavin wear a Winger t-shirt in the studio all week.) Then we learned all the ways that Beavis and Butthead were destroying the youth of America and why none of them were things that actually happened. Finally we wrapped up with an interesting theory that Mike Judge might just be a prophet.
