According to the Standards of Practice, the home inspector shall inspect insulation in unfinished spaces, including attics, crawlspace, and foundation areas; ventilation of unfinished spaces, including attics, crawlspaces, and foundation areas; and mechanical exhaust systems in the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry area.
