Alexandra Janelli, Founder of Modrn Sanctuary steps on to the New York Launch Pod to discuss her wellness center located at 12 W 27th Street. Modrn Sanctuary offers health, wellness, and beauty services in a 5,000 square foot space featuring 15 treatment rooms centered around a salt room that features Himalyan Salt that is over 200 million years old.  What's different about Modrn Sanctuary?  The business model includes independent practitioners coming together in a shared environment to offer top of the line services that include physical therapy, nutrition, massage, yoga, acupuncture, aroma therapy, hypnotherapy, botox, cryotherapy and a whole lot more! Alexandra had the idea for a Himalyan Salt Room after having a wonderful experience in a salt cave.  After finding out that no one else had done anything similar in New York City she set out to bring an enhanced experience that caters to the New York market.  Being a hypnotherapist and life coach, Alexandra also knew the benefits of a shared space for independent wellness practitioners.  Thus Modrn Sanctuary was born.
