Episode 48: 'Hall Pass,' 'Drive Angry,' interview and Pitch Me with screenwriter Paul Tamasy ('The Fighter,' 'Air Bud')

The pre-Oscars edition of Movie B.S. with Bayer and Snider has a special guest: Paul Tamasy, who’s nominated for an Academy Award for writing “The Fighter”! An actual Oscar nominee, on our stupid little show! Paul tells us about the process of researching and writing “The Fighter,” of working with Christian Bale and David O. Russell, and of his previous cinematic legacy, which was writing “Air Bud.” Paul joins in a quick round of Pitch Me, too. As for the new movies this week, “Hall Pass” has its moments but is overall a loss, while “Drive Angry” is fun as far as insane grindhouse trash goes.
