Episode 48 Learning Curve

from Gatecast · host Alan Keatinge/Mike Crate

The SGC and the people of the planet Orban agree to exchange tech and information but a stumbling block is discovered thanks to the unique way the Orban educate their people. Their representative Merrin and expert on power generation happens is only a young girl and other children are the focal point of information exchange leading to a clash of cultures. A good episode to watch but not ideal to comment on since it was very visual with a lot of picture tells a thousand words scenes, still a good working of a plot that quite common in Trek, humans putting their own view points ahead of those of another people. Merrin played by Brittney Irvin was excellent and has gone onto a very good career in television and Andrew Airlie (Defying Gravity, Reaper) is one of those actors you always recognise if not always able to name:) Promo..
