Episode 48: Making Positivity Free for Everyone with Deek Parassini

from Live Authentically Podcast with Pamela Savino · host Pamela Savino / Deek Parassini

With so much going on in the world today, it is easy to get bogged down in our problems and settle into a victim mindset. Today’s guest, Deek Parassini is here to tell you that you don’t have to wallow in your misery. There is happiness out there for you, but you have to be the one to go out and get it. The Five Aspects of PositivityDeek Parassini is a speaker, mentor and positivity expert. With a background in science, marketing and psychology, Deek has a wide range of experience in working with people. He believes that all of life’s solutions stem from these five aspects: relationships, education, health, finances and love. Say you are stuck in a rut. You reach a point in life when you are ready to start growing in some way. The first thing to do is to talk to those around you —  your family and friends. Will they support your decisions? What advice will they have for you? The next step is to educate yourself. Do I have the resources I need to start my growth journey? Do I need to read a new book or listen to a new podcast to get started? Now is where your health comes in. Any problem you have is amplified if you aren’t taking care of yourself. Deek believes that eating well and staying active are crucial parts of self-growth, no matter your situation. Once those three aspects are in line, finances and love will fall into place. Ridding Yourself of the Victim MindsetIn Deek’s mind, “life is all positive and negativity doesn’t exist.” He believes negativity stems from having a victim mindset, which is blaming your problems on others, or believing that the world as a whole is damaging to you. Ultimately, YOU have the power to change your life. You have the power to grow. Growth is inevitable whether you like it or not. You may be content and happy with your current situation. You may be happy distracting yourself from problems with recreational activities, media or substances. What happens when life hits you hard? Are you prepared? Odds are, you probably aren’t. Deek believes that when life hits you hard, it is a wake-up call for you to grow. Instead of focusing on the problem, take it as an opportunity to grow, learn new things about yourself and focus on a solution. In other words, focus on positivity rather than negativity. Are you ready to learn more about how to live a more positive life? The best part about working with Deek is that his coaching sessions are completely free! Why? He believes that spreading positivity is his true purpose in life. Connect with Deek on his website, shoot him a message on WhatsApp and listen to his “Life is all Positive” podcast.
