Episode 482: 2022 TE and Defensive Preview with David Syvertsen

Paul is joined by David Syvertsen (@Ourlads_Sy) of Ourlads Scouting Service to preview the 2022 tight end prospects and the top defensive prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft.  To start the show, Paul and David discuss why evaluating college tight ends is such a challenging process when trying to project their transition from the college game to the NFL. They also discuss why many young tight ends take time to develop at the NFL level compared to other positions we see prospects make a bigger impact much faster.  Next, David shares his thoughts on the tight end class as a whole and how many starter types he believes can come out of this draft. Following that, they start breaking down in detail many of the top tight end prospects that will be in the day 2 mix, others that will come off the board on early day, some under the radar late round tight end prospects and one well known tight end who may now go undrafted based on his poor season and the pre draft process.  In the last segment of the show, David shares his thoughts on many of the top defensive prospects in this class.
