Episode 49 - Almost Famous
from Talk Until The Joy is Gone Hosted by Talk Until The Joy is Gone
Continuing the roll of covering some of Rooney's favourite things, this week the boys re-watched the Cameron Crowe coming of age saga Almost Famous, and got a little carried away watching it and kind of neglected to take many notes! But fear not! This is TUTJIG, so they still managed just over 3 hours, which included (for some reason) a brief introduction to the Heaven's Gate cult (we've given up trying to fathom how Reggie's mind comes up with these intros), reminiscences of the boys in their gigging days, a two-sided conversation about clothes and fashion, and a realisation that even though they can't remember why they went upstairs, the boys can remember songs from local radio stations in the 90's/00's in their entirety! Opening music taken from 'Discovery' by Scott Buckley - released under CC-BY 4.0. www.scottbuckley.com.au
