Episode 49: BONUS—The Mystery of God

The "Mystery of God" is a phrase that gets kicked around a few times in the Bible, where is came up again in our current study on Revelation in chapter 10. Vinnie connects Daniel 2 and Zachariah 4 to show how it is Jesus's non-violent, non-coercive mechanism that brings about the Kingdom of God, and how this so contrary to how we usually understand what it means for God to be all-powerful. Yes, God is all powerful in that He can get whatever He wants, but is that how He uses power? Jesus and the slaughtered lamb shows us otherwise and that is the "mystery".
