from Detox with Abi · host Abimbola Arawande

(Psalms 19:14) The Psalmist, David, prayed that the words of his mouth and the meditation of his heart be acceptable to God. He knows the way to please his Father is to have his thoughts sieved of all ungodly thoughts. No wonder God called him a man after His heart; a man He loves dearly. God knew his thought life and words are delighting to Him. Can God say that about me? Can God say that about you? . How is your thought life like? How pure, how true, how just, how lovely are your thoughts toward yourself and those about you? You have to deliberately sieve the thoughts that come to your mind. Clear your thoughts of all things that will not be pleasing to God because thoughts, when conceived, will birth word which could either build or destroy your own life or people about you. Determine to filter your thoughts from today. Purpose to close your soul to unwholesome thoughts and meditate on, and do the Word of God. By doing this your words will be gracious, bringing healing to souls. Declare I have the mind of Christ I am a thinker because my Father is a great thinker Your Word says great are Your thoughts So, my thoughts are great and will always gladden Your heart, Lord Every word I speak to people is gracious My words give light, strength, encouragement, healing to my hearers. Father I thank You, because You will find in me a man/woman after Your heart as I purpose to think and talk about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
