Dr Subhas Ganguli, Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at McMaster University, presents on food as medicine for prevention and treatment of diabetes. This presentation was presented as part of the Canadian Plant-based Nutrition Conference held on June 1, 2019 in Toronto.Dr. Ganguli practices at St Joseph’s Hospital. After obtaining his MD at the University of Saskatchewan he did training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He then completed further training in Gastroenterology and obtained a Masters Degree in Health Research Methodology at McMaster.
