Episode 49 - It's Bridgerton Time

It feels like a long time since our last media roundup, and maybe that's because we took the last two weeks off to celebrate the New Year, AKA the Inauguration of President Joe Biden and Veep Kamala Harris. Does the world seem brighter now? We don't know, but we've got a romantic set of tv shows and books to recommend this month.  Everyone but Katie has watched -- and has thoughts about --- Bridgerton. We wheel and deal and the rest of the pod agrees to read Katie's pick Red, White, and Royal Blue if she'll just give the first episode of Bridgerton a try. Other recommendations this month are the poetry of Amanda Gorman, the new French netflix show Lupin, and Regina King's One Night in Miami.  Finally, in a topsy-turvy school year, we close out with a #relish of one very normal snow day this week.
