Episode #49: Jahleel Hills

Jahleel Hills is an incredible filmmaker and musician, specializing in snare-style drumming. Having grown up in the arts and wanting to take his music and passion for visual storytelling to bigger heights, he studied film at SUNY Purchase College, where he directed his movie, "Off the Beat", which won for best director and best student film at the New York Neorealism Film Awards. As a drummer he's performed at multiple venues, including NFL Stadiums, and has worked with celebrities like Lil Nas X.   He's grateful for his experiences, family, community, and his God-given talents that brought him where he is today. Now, he joins the UPcoming to talk about how it all came to be.
