CinaCult is back! And we are tackling our first ever animated film with our review of the 1985 box office bomb turned cult classic: Walt Disney's The Black Cauldron! Part of the Disney Dark Age and based on the 5 book "Chronicles of Prydain" series, the movie follows Taran, a young pig-keeper who dreams of becoming a heroic warrior. When his oracle pig Hen Wen is hunted by the ruthless Horned King, who searches for the mythical Black Cauldron, Taran must set out to stop the evil king and his goblin Creeper from rising an undead army with the help of Princess Eilonwy, the bard Fflewddur Flam and a furry lovable creature named Gurgi.
